I live next door to Guatemalan, Morrocco, Sudanese, Chinese and Senegalese immigrants couldn’t be more diverse that that. I sometimes watch them communicating with each other in “English” sans the grammar and correct pronunciation. Here’s one funny incident -one of them needed help in the supermarket but didn’t knew “trolley” (seems they don’t have trolleys and supermarkets in that country). OMG, it was an almighty fuss and commotion -hard to describe but really amusing.
